Matériel compris : feutre noir mine 003, crayons, papiers.
Prix du cours : 30 euros

Heurich House Museum Frühlingsfest

Spring has been a long time coming this year…let’s welcome it together! The Heurich House Museum presents Frühlingsfest, a seasonal celebration modeled after a traditional German Festival. Spend the day in the Castle Garden (one of the only open spaces of its kind in Dupont Circle) enjoying maibock, eating delicious German sausages, expressing yourself with art, and playing games. We’ve invited some of our favorite local artisans and businesses to join us.

Plant a perennial in our new Native Plant Butterfly Garden, guided by Kellie Cox, assisted by Love and Carrots. Enjoy our garden games, including a traditional maypole, and explore a mini-market featuring wares by local artisans. A floral installation by Sidra Forman will adorn the antique garden archway.

Special museum tours will be offered, focusing on the flora & fauna decorative elements found throughout the first floor, and an art exhibit of Kellie Cox’s botanical-inspired paintings can be found in the museum Conservatory.

Guests have the option to purchase festival tickets during the event, which can go towards:

Beer by Port City Brewery

Non-alcoholic drinks by Element Shrub

German sausages by Garden District

Succulent-planting classes, led by Cody Alexander of Urban Jungle

Botanical drawing classes, led by Eva Calonder of Printed Wild
